A charming copy of these classic tales. The thirty eighth poem of When We Were Very Young, introduces the 'teddy bear', who would go on to be a staple in children's literature. Milne was a prolific author and is now best-remembered for his creation of Winnie-The-Pooh and his many friends.

In the publisher's original blue cloth binding. Externally very smart with slight bumping to the extremities. Marks to the rear board. Prior owner's inscription to front pastedown. Internally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with marginal age toning.
