An informative pamphlet on the early history of Stowe, a civil parish and former village northwest of Buckinghamshire. Stowe House is a Grade I listed country houses and is occupied by Stowe School.

In the original publisher's paper wraps. Externally very smart with only minor shelf wear and a minor faint mark on the front wrap. With some minor sunning and spotting. Internally, firmly bound. With some spotting on the fore edge, affecting only the occasional leaf, particularly the first and last few. The pages are otherwise generally bright and clean. Illustrated with seventeen full page plates. Collated, complete.
