First Edition, With Dustwrapper

Written shortly after the death of Kipling's son, the stories all feature themes of pain, inner suffering, mental anguish and bereavement. Including The Woman in His Life, The Manner of Men, The Mother's Son, and many more.

Condition

In a red cloth binding with original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, generally smart, though with some shelfwear. Spine cocked, and some discolouration to the head of the spine. Dustwrapper is sound, though age-tonedwith some loss to the head of the spine panels and some edgewear. Stain to rear panel. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
