Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, Very Scarce
A very scarce work. In the original French. A children's work about a little boy name Georgie, who goes on holiday with his family to visit his cousin Lili. Written by Henriette Perrin-Duportal. Perrin-Duportal also wrote 'Georgie a la Montagne'. Illustrated throughout by Kuhn-Regnier. Kuhn-Regnier was a French illustrator who drew characters inspired by Greek and classical art. He contributed illustrations to magazines such as 'La Vie Parisienne', 'La Sourire', and 'Fantasio'.
Condition
In the original publisher's quarter cloth binding with pictorial paper to the boards. Externally, generally smart. Small mark to the front board. A little bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
