Description

The first English edition of this novel by Jacob Wassermann. Translated from the German by Cyrus Brooks.

The story of Etzel Andergast, the hero of The Maurizius Case. The series treats the theme of justice through the suspense of a detective story.

This story is part of a trilogy, with The Maurizius Case, Etzel Andergast, and Kerkhoven’s Third Existence
