Contents include 'General Military History', 'The Raising of the Regiment' and 'The Great War'. 

Illustrated with nineteen monochrome plates, six maps, and a colour plate as the frontispiece. Collated, complete. 

Prior owner's ink inscription to the first free endpaper.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, very smart. There is some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities resulting in some wear to the cloth in these areas. Marks to the boards. The hinges are slightly strained. Prior owner's ink inscription to the front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean.
