This very scarce work was written by H. H. King and provides an account of badger hunting and working terriers. The work recounts his time with his own working terrier, Nell, while discussing early training, information on the breeds of working terriers and badgers, and how to care for working dogs.
Undated, dated by copies held by the British Library.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth. Externally smart with fading to the spine, rubbing to the extremities, heaviest to the head and tail of the spine with small closed tears, and marks to the boards including the odd damp stain to the rear. Light spotting to the endpapers. Internally, firmly bound with lightly age toned pages and scattered spotting, heaviest to the front.
