Theodora Eyton-Jones' account of her experiences travelling to the Holy Lands and staying with the Eastern Prelates when she was a young and unmarried woman, quite a feat at the time. During this trip she visited the Patriarchs of the Eastern Churches. 

Illustrated with a frontispiece, and thirty plates.

Collated, complete.

Foreword by the Lord Bishop of London. Preface by Michael Constantinides. Epilogue by the Archbishop of Thyateira.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. A few very light marks and very light rubbing to the boards and spine. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Light spots to the fore edge. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Author's inscription to the half-title.
