A first edition copy. With an inscription, assumed to be by the author, reading 'To Madge - who helped so kindly in the preparation of this work, from Uncle Sam, 1933'
Condition
In a full cloth binding. Externally, smart with some very slight bumping and fading to the spine. Internally, firmly bound, very bright and clean with an inscription to the front free endpaper.
