Condition
In the original publisher's full cloth binding with gilt detail to spine. Externally lovely with minor shelf wear only, minor bumping to head and tail of spine. Dust wrapper with shelf wear, chipped to extremities, tape-repaired to spine and extremities internally to the wraps, front fly-leaf held by four strips of tape, wraps cockled due to possible damp. Previous ownership ink inscription to front free endpaper, dated '49. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean. With illustrations by Joseph Pennell.
