This volume delves into their courtship and early married life. Helen Thomas late published a second memoir volume, 'World Without End'.

Edward Thomas was a poet and essayist, who was enjoying a burgeoning career before being killed in action during the Battle of Arras, 1917, in World War One.

Prior owner's ink inscription to the recto to the front endpaper.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally light discolouration and marks to the boards and spine. Split to the spine and to the rear joint. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Front hinge is starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
