    Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding

    A very scarce copy of Charles Perrault's version of the classic fairy tale 'Le Petit Chaperon Rouge'. Written in French the title translates into English as 'Little Red Riding Hood'. The second work feature in this volume is a lesser known works entitled, 'Riquet à la tuppe'. Charles Perrault reversion of this tale in considered the ultimate telling of this tale. This particular volume is by Charles Perrault. Perrault prolifically adapted fairy tales, with his version of Tales of Mother Goose being by far his most popular. With vibrant illustrated by the artist M. Pignal.

    Condition

    In the publisher original quarter cloth binding. Externally smart. Light bumping to the extremities, with rubbing to the spine and boards. Sticker to the head of the front pastedown. Internally binding is strained in places, with several pages are risk of becoming detached. Pages are age toned.
