A fascinating and insightful dramatic historical novel, inspired by the events of the Russian Revolution of 1917. He was one of the leaders of the anti-Bolshevik White movement. He died in 1947 after being repatriated to the Soviets and was sentenced to death.
With four pages of advertisements to the rear. No dust wrapper present.

Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. There is some minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and slight bumping to the extremities. The spine is slightly faded. The front hinge is slightly strained but firm. Prior owner's book plate to the first pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with the occasional spot.
