First edition of The Life Story of Birds by Eric Fitch Daglish in the original publisher's cloth binding and unclipped dust wrapper. 

A beautiful ornithological work by the British engraver and author. The work shares in the simplest forms the whole life story of birds. 

Illustrated with twenty full page plates from wood engravings especially engraved by the author for this work. Collated, complete.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding and unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart. There is some minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. There is some light spotting to the fore edge and light spotting to the front board. There is some wear to the dust wrapper, including some loss to the head and tail of the spine. The dust wrapper is also age toned and has some light spots. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with the odd spot.
