A signed presentation copy from Belloc to his close friend and fellow writer D.B. Wyndham Lewis, with an ink inscription to the front free-endpaper: 'To my friend DB Wyndham Lewis, H Belloc'. Wyndham Lewis was a noted journalist and writer, credited often for his humorous newspaper articles.
Condition
In the publisher's quarter cloth binding with pictorial paper covered boards. Externally, some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. Some light staining and sunning to the boards, with the odd handling mark. Containing an ink inscription by the author to the front free-endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Some instances of light spotting to the pages, which are otherwise generally clean.
