The first edition, first impression with a second state half-title and binding as issued. This edition sold 11,200 copies.

Condition

In the publisher's original full cloth binding. Externally rather worn; a tape repair covering some loss to the head of the spine, which is worn at the tail of spine and joints. A tidemark to the front board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
