What Our Customers Say...

Description

First Edition, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, Uncommon

The first edition of this work, an uncommon volume by Herbert Hoffman.

A fascinating study on the new attitudes toward interior decoration during the beginning of the twentieth century, also looking at the importance of the part played by restaurants, theatres, cinemas, stores, factories etc., which makes this volume a very unconventional survey of the living room and it equipment.

Included are also staircase, entrance halls of public and industrial buildings.

Copiously illustrated with two hundred and ninety two plates illustrating various modernist interior architecture and designs. Collated, complete.
