Written and illustrated by Cecil Charles Windsor Aldin, a British artist and illustrator best known for his paintings and sketches of animals, sports, and rural life.

Condition

In the original red cloth binding. Externally, very smart with minor wear and light fading to the spine. Original unclipped dust wrapper is smart with light wear and chipping to the extremities. Light sunning to the spine with the odd small closed tear to the panel edges. Light spotting to the panels. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with minor spotting to the foredge and endpapers. Minor age toning to the endpapers.
