A limited edition, being number 458 of 1025 copies printed for sale. In the publisher's original cloth binding. With a portrait frontispiece from a drawing by Percy Smith. H. M. Tomlinson was a prolific British writer and journalist, known for his opposition to war. Amongst his most noted works. titles include: 'Normal Douglas', 'Waiting for Daylight', and 'Gallions Reach'. A lovely example of this work of fiction.
Condition
In the original cloth binding with gilt detail. Externally, very smart with some light shelf wear to the extremities and some bumping to the top of the spine. Light offsetting to the paste-downs. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with some light age-toning to the edges and just the odd spot.
