Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding

Reginald John Farrer was a renowned traveller and plant collector who published a number of books on rock gardening. Complete in two volumes. With fifty two black and white plates to volume I, and fifty to volume II.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding with gilt title to spines. Externally minor shelf wear to extremities. Slight bumping to head and tail of spine, resulting in small splits to cloth. Internally firmly bound. Pages slightly age toned to extremities but bright and clean, with the odd spot heavier to first and last few pages. Scattered spotting to fore edge of the occasional page, only visible to text block. Pages occasionally uncut throughout. Mark to page lxiv volume I.
