Illustrated with a frontispiece and twenty-two images across eleven plates. Collated complete. A charming collection of stories about dogs, from the "good boy" to the amusingly outrageous "bad dog." With titles including: Taff the Tyrant, Mother Love, Joey Loses His Bark, A Hold Up, and Daisy in the Field, amongst others. Puppies, 1931. Second edition. Illustrated with a colour tipped in frontispiece and twenty-four monochrome tipped in plates. Collated complete. A delightful collection of stories about puppies, with titles including: Over the Top, The Bully, Snow is Jolly, The Family Tree, and Feeding Time, amongst others. Illustrated by Florence Jay, an English artist and illustrator.
Condition
Let Dogs Delight is bound in the original full paper covered boards, while Puppies is bound in the original full red cloth. Externally, smart with light rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Fading or sunning to the spines with the odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with light age toning to the endpapers of Puppies.
