Chapters in this volume include looking at wrought iron in different centuries and in different parts of England, as well as a chapter of the Huguenot ironworker Jean Tijou, who worked on several key English Baroque buildings.

Illustrated with in-text photographs throughout.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. A little discolouration to the extremities, and a few very light marks. Wrinkle to the tail of the front board, due to a crack to the front paste down. Light spots to the endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
