What Our Customers Say...

Description

Colour Plates, Decorative Binding, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding

A delightful collection of some of the less common writings of Surtees, collected from magazines.

Robert Smith Surtees was an English editor and novelist, most widely known for the cockney character of Jorrocks.

Edited with an introduction by E. D. Cuming.

Illustrated with a colour frontispiece, three colour plates, and twenty-one monochrome plates.

Collated, complete.

Illustrated by George Denholm Armour.

Lacking the very scarce original dust wrapper.

A smart first edition.

Condition

In the publisher's original full cloth binding. Externally very smart, with just a touch of minor wear. Internally, binding is generally firm, with a slight strain to the front hinge after the front endpaper. Pages are occasionally a touch spotted.
