First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, Very Scarce

An analysis of Kaddish, thirteenth century Aramaic prayer said during traditional Jewish prayer service, a hymn praising God. The central them e is the magnification and sanctification of God's name in relation to the Hebrew word Kadosh, meaning 'holy.' By Rabbi Jacob Hubscher, who proposes a study of the prayer's meaning, significance, various kinds of Kaddish, and a commentary. Featuring a poem titled 'The Death of Parents.' 

A very scarce first edition of this work, rare in all editions. Internally, the text-block for this work is excellent.

Condition

Disbound, with the original paper covered boards present. Externally fairly worn with shelf wear and shipping, loss to the spine. The text block is internally firmly bound. With a pencil scribble to the front pastedown, otherwise the pages are clean with only a hint of age toning, as usual with the type of paper used.
