Very scarce work. With frontispiece and two plates. A fascinating commentary on hunting hares. Includes the poem or song 'The Hunting of The Hare' and details of days spent with the beagles. Written by Arthur MacDonald, a Scottish outdoorsman.
Condition
In the original pictorial paper covered card. Externally, smart with light shelf wear and the odd mark to the boards. Light sunning to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd spot. Contemporary ink inscription to the reverse of the frontispiece.
