    First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

    In the original very scarce unclipped dustwrapper.

    'The Causal and the Casual in History' was John Buchan's Rede Lecture, delivered in 1929. The lecture discusses the question of whether history is a science, or an art.

    Written by the Scottish author John Buchan.

    Condition

    In the original publisher's paper covered boards, in the original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, smart, with only a couple of very light marks. A few spots to the fore edge. Dustwrapper with light edgewear, a little discolouration and some marks. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with a couple of light spots to the last few pages.
