Moore also wrote biographies on Lord Byron and his daughter Ada Lovelace, and founded the Fashion Museum in Bath.

Condition

In the original publisher's paper covered boards, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, generally smart. Spine and extremities are a little sunned. Light spots to the boards and spine. Boards are bowed. Scattered spots to the endpapers. Dust wrapper is edge worn, with loss to the head and tail of the spine, and tears to the spine. Spine is a little age-toned, only a few small marks to the wraps, including some spots to the reverse. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
