Containing the following works, that originally appeared 'at one time or another' in "Punch": Forty Nine Ladies To a Fox Cub Cubbing The Kill The Huntsman's Story The Bobtailed Fox Charley Little Red Fox With the Mule Train'. Copiously illustrated throughout by the prolific British artist and illustrator Cecil Aldin, who was widely renowned for his paintings and sketches of animals, sports, and rural life. This copy is lacking its original dustwrapper, as usual.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally generally smart, with slight bumping to extremities. Bumping to head and tail of spine resulting in small split to cloth to head of front joint. Small ink marks to front board. Rear hinge split and strained, showing cords. Prior owner's pencil inscription to front pastedown. Front free-endpaper removed, with evidence to gutter. Internally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean, with only the odd light spot to the occasional page.
