First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, Signed, With Dustwrapper

The first edition, third impression of this work. Signed by the author to the half-title. Published as part of the Criterion Miscellany, this work being number two in the series after 'Two Masters' by A. W. Wheen'. 'Cote d'Or' is a travel works, recounting the author's travels in France in 1914. Written by H. M. Tomlinson. Tomlinson was a writer and journalist, who was well known for his anti-war and travel writing. Publisher's adverts for 'All Quiet on the Western Front' by E. M. Remarque loosely inserted.

Condition

In the original publisher's paper wrappers, with an unclipped dustwrapper adhered to the spine, as issued. Externally, smart. A few spots to the boards. Light fading to the dustwrapper to the spine. Minor edgewear to the dustwrapper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Author's signature to the half-title.
