The second edition of the work, first published in 1926. Uncommon. Lacking the very scarce original dust wrapper. Clouds of Witness is the second novel to feature Wimsey's protagonist, Lord Peter Wimsey, and features Wimsey investigating the death of his sister's fiancee. By Dorothy Sayers, noted crime writer and one of the Queens of Crime, alongside notable others such as Agatha Christie and Ngaio Marsh.
Condition
In the original cloth binding. Externally smart, with slight bumping to the extremities. Slight fading to the spine and rear board and the odd handling mark to the boards. Internally firmly bound. Pages generally bright and clean with age toning due to paper used.
