The first edition of this collection of essays and introductions by noted author A. A. Milne.

Containing a selection of essays and reviews for various publications and essays throughout his career. Including reviews of Sherlock Holmes' short stories, and general thoughts. 

The last important essays concerns the ending of Winnie the Pooh. 

With the price clipped dust wrapper.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally very smart with only minor shelf wear and a minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine. With a slight damp staining to the front and rear board. The dust wrapper is price clipped and excellent with minor shelf wear only and a slight sunning to the spine and front wrap, as usual. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean.
