A first edition on Henry Williamson's 1928 novel, complete with original unclipped dustwrapper.

'The Pathways' is the fourth and final novel in Williamson's series dedicated to William Maddison, a survivor of the First World War's Lost Generation, who revolts against the ideals that he believes led to the Great War. Within the novel, Willie himself is set upon writing a book which he hopes will deliver mankind from the culture of war.

Condition

In publisher's original cloth binding, with unclipped dustwrapper. Externally smart, with shelfwear to head and tail of spine, and light fading. Spine of dustwrapper is tanned, with chipping to head of dustwrapper spine. Internally, tightly bound. Pages bright and clean.
