Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, Scarce

This particular work features 6 reproductions of maps, each exhibited at the British Museum on The Occasional of the International Geographical Congress. Dating between the 15th and 17th centuries, the maps features depicts locations across the globe. A very scarce work of cartography, with the bright and clean maps throughout.

Condition

In the publisher's original quarter cloth binding, with paper covered boards. Externally sound, with minor bumped to the head and tail of the spine, and patches of rubbing to the boards and extremities. Very minor offsetting to the front and rear endpapers. Internally firmly bound. Pages are lightly cockled, with the very occasional spot.
