    In original publisher's decorative cloth binding. 

    The novel was Bird's most successful novel, but today it is recognised for its depiction of Native Americans and depiction of violence towards Native American communities.

    Includes the preface to the first edition and editors note. 

    Condition

    In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, very smart. There is some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. The hinges are starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean.
