Hardy is one of the most popular British authors to ever write, well beloved for his sometimes controversial novels 'Far From the Madding Crowd' and 'Tess of the d'Ubervilles'.
Illustrated with two plates.
'La Revue Nouvelle' has historically been a popular name for periodicals, but this particular journal was first founded in 1924.

Condition
In the original publisher's paper wraps, in the original glassine wrap. Externally, smart. Light discolouration and a few minor marks to the wraps. Glassine wrap with a couple of small chips. Label to the head of the spine of the dustwrapper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are age-toned and clean.
