Beautifully illustrated throughout with vibrant full-page colour illustrations after paintings by D. Barclay, and with monochrome photographic images by E. J. Steer. Collated, complete.
The author, Harriet Margaret Louisa Bolus, was a prominent South African botanist, botanical collector, and curator and scientific illustrator. She published 'A Second Book of South African Flowers' in 1936.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth binding, with price unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, fine. Endpapers lightly age toned. Two small losses to head of dust wrapper back strip, with edgewear and a small number of closed tears to head of rear wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
