In the original German.
Profusely illustrated with drawings, photographs, reproductions and maps.
In the original blue pictorial buckram embossed in gilt and black, bevelled edges.
Loosely inserted is a 16 page quarto pamphlet celebrating Christmas on board the S.M.S Rheinland, in 1914. It is printed with stories, songs and illustrations. the Rheinland was one of the first dreadnought-class battleships to be built for the German navy.
A fantastic production of Germany's Naval battles during the First World War.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, very smart. A few light marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Former owner's bookplate to the verso of the half-title page.
