Its important to remember that when the work was originally written, Great Western Railway was the owner of the largest dock system in the world with three quarters of the traffic being for coal. Written by Walter George Chapman, a British writer and rail enthusiast.
Condition
In the original pictorial paper binding. Externally, sound with light rubbing and minor chipping to the extremities. Sunning to the spine and the odd mark to the boards. A small closed tear to the tail of the front joint. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with light scattered spotting to the first and last few pages. Previous owner's ink stamp to the front endpaper.
