Illustrated with a monochrome frontispiece. 

This limited edition work features a collection of poetry by English poet and priest of the Church of England, George Herbert. This collection, originally published in 1633, contains all of Herbert's English poems, with a preface by Ferrar (a deacon of the Church of England).

Condition

In the publisher's original embroidered cloth. Externally excellent with only slight fading to the spine and a small closed tear to the head of the front joint. Offsetting to the free endpapers. Internally firmly bound with generally bright pages with only light age toning, the odd spot and offsetting to the title page from the frontispiece.
