A scarce first edition. In full cloth binding with gilt detail. Volume 34 of The Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire Light Infantry Chronicle. An annual record of the First and Second Battalions, formerly the 43rd and 52nd Light Infantry. From January to December 1926. Complete with monochrome photographs, calendars, diarys and sports matches. A fascinating account of their annual proceedings. The Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry was a regiment of the British Army from 1881 until 1958, serving in the Second Boer War, World War One, and World War Two.
Condition
In a full cloth binding with gilt detail. Externally, very smart with some wear to the extremities and some bumping to the spine. Light marks to the front panel. Some spotting to the free endpapers. Previous owner's bookplate to the front paste-down, inscribed, 'Richard Banastre Crosse'. Some ink inscribed card stuck to the front paste-down. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with the odd spot throughout. Wear to the fore-edge.
