The English Replica was the name associated with reprints of this nature, carried out at Payson & Clarke, a publishing company founded in 1924 and based in New York.
Black and white cartoon label to front paste down. Bookplate of Nicholas Wall to rear paste down.
Condition
In original publisher's boards. Externally very smart, with minor shelf wear only. Age toning to boards, particularly to upper back board. Light age toning and the occasional mark to endpapers. Black and white cartoon label to front paste down. Bookplate to rear paste down. Internally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with the occasional spot.
