A scarce new edition. In the publisher's original full cloth binding with gilt detail. With a frontispiece and twenty five plates. Collated complete. An interesting review of art and literature at the close of the Nineteenth century. With sections on notable creatives such as Rudyard Kipling, John Davidson and Aubrey Beardsley. With the previous owner's neat ink signature to the front free endpaper.

Condition

In the original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with shelf wear to the edges and some bumping to the spine. Fading to the spine and board edges. A few small marks to the boards. Previous owner's ink signature to the front free endpaper. Offsetting to the free endpapers. Internally, generally firmly bound. Binding strained between the frontispiece and title page. Pages age-toned but otherwise bright and clean.
