Subtitled 'a collection of extracts relating to the gun', and of course featuring excerpts from Surtees's Jorrocks stories, a cockney grocer dedicated to fox hunting.
Illustrated with four colour plates, and numerous further illustrations. Collated, complete.

In the publisher's original pictorial cloth binding. Light fading to back strip, with bumping to back strip head and tail. Boards exceptionally bright. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
