What Our Customers Say...
Description
First Edition, Leather Binding, Limited Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, Signed
The first edition of this Limited Edition selection of the works of Anglican cleric, poet and playwright Robert Eyres Landon. Edited and with a biographical introduction from Eric Partridge, by whom the work is signed.
No. 19 of 155 copies printed on hand made paper, illustrated with a photogravure portrait of Landon.
A charming collection of the poetry and prose of a man renowned for his reluctance to claim credit for his own work, so much so that his popular 1824 drama, 'The Count Arezzi', was at the time attributed to Lord Byron himself.
