    Folding Maps, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

    In the original scarce unclipped dustwrapper.

    'Revolt in the Desert' is an abridged version of Lawrence's work 'Seven Pillars of Wisdom', an account of his war experiences.

    Illustrated with a frontispiece, a folding map, 

    Lawrence was a British writer and army officer, known for his roles in the Arab Revolt and Sinai and Palestine Campaign against the Ottoman Empire. He was also known as 'Lawrence of Arabia'.

    Prior owner's ink inscription to the title page.

    Condition

    In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, generally smart, with some marks to the boards and spine. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Minor spots to the fore edge. Dustwrapper with minor edgewear and marks, with a little loss of paper due to rubbing in some places. Tape repair to the reverse of the dustwrapper, with red marks to the reverse of the dustwrapper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
