With Parker's preface explaining that the substance of the work is a response to a questionnaire sent out by the Field Press in the autumn of 1926 to the owner's of partridge manors in the British Isles.
With the bookplate of Alan Thornton to the front pastedown.

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Shelf wear to back strip head and tail, otherwise externally excellent. Bookplate to front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Spot to title page, otherwise generally clean and bright, with only the odd spot.
