Included is an extensive section on the May Fair Hotel by Sir Francis Towle, managing director of the Gordon Hotels.
The whole book is embellished with colourful illustrations throughout, numerous colourful advertisements, is complete with twenty three coloured plates tipped in, and three large coloured plates extended over two leaves.
This volume includes the rare original glassine wrap in poor condition.
Condition
In the original publisher's illustrated paper wraps. Externally excellent with only minor shelf wear and a slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. With the original rear fly leaf and front wrap with its flyleaf of the glassine wrappers, in poor condition, included. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean. Illustrated with colourful illustrations throughout, numerous colourful advertisements, and complete with twenty three coloured plates tipped in, and three large coloured plates extended over two leaves.
