Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

First published in 1917. A collection of Sherlock Holmes stories by Arthur Conan Doyle, including the titular tale of 'His Last Bow' and 'The Adventures of the Cardboard Box' among others.

All of the eight featured stories were published previously in other collections or in The Strand Magazine.  

Rarely seen complete with its unclipped dust wrapper. Book in excellent condition.

Condition

In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally lovely with minor shelf wear only, lightly bumped to head and tail of spine. Dust wrapper very smart with only minor shelf wear, light minor chipping to head and tail of spine. 1942 stamp to front pastedown, previous ownership inscription to front free endpaper, undated. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean with a touch of age toning, as usual with the type of paper used.
