'The Studio' was an influential magazine that focuses on fine and decorative arts, founded by Charles Holme in 1893. The magazine had a large influence on the Art Nouveau and Arts and Crafts movements. It promoted the new art of artists, designers, and architects, promoting the works of people like Charles Rennie Mackintosh and Charles Voysey.

Edited by Geoffrey Holme, with commentary by George Sheringham and James Laver, and literary contributions by E. Gordon Craig, Charles B. Cochran, and Nigel Playfair.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart, with some light marks to the boards and spine. A little fading to the spine and extremities. Minor bumping to the spine and extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
