In two volumes, with issues of 'The Kipling Journal' dated from March 1927 to December 1932. 'The Kipling Journal' is a quarterly journal that includes articles, news, information on events, and transcripts of lectures, given by the Kipling Society. The Kipling Society is a literary society, started in 1927, focused on the author Rudyard Kipling, his life and works. Kipling is best known for his novel 'The Jungle Book', however he was a prolific writer of poems, novels, and short stories. Being born in India inspired much of his work, and he went on to become one of the most popular writers of his time. With twelve issues to each volume so 24 issues in total. Each issue has it's one contents. With nineteen plates and one folding plate to Volume I, and sixteen plates and one folding plate to Volume II. In a signed binding by H. B. Broadbere.
In a signed half calf binding with cloth to the boards. Externally, generally smart. Some marks to the rear boards. Very light rubbing to the spine of 1927-29. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
